Edward Domanski, 88, residing in Huron, passed away early Tuesday morning, Jan. 31, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.

Edward was born Feb. 1, 1923, in Jersey City, N.J. son of the late Stanley and Sophie (Antczak) Domanski. He was one of 6 children.

Edward retired for the Sandusky General Motors Corp. in 1985 after 28 years of service. He was a draftsman-designer and the family moved from Jersey City in 1966 for his job. Edward served in World War 11 in the Army-Air Force, was stationed in Australia and the Philippines and worked as an aircraft mechanic.

Thomas A. Sieb

Thomas A. “Tom” Sieb, 74, of Huron, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 9, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.
He was born January 12,1937, in Monroe, Mich., and was a 1954 graduate of Monroe High School. Tom attended the University of Michigan, where he was a member of ROTC. Tom was employed by Ford Motor Company for 45 years, retiring in 2000.
