McCARTHY-NORTON
It is with great joy that Dr. Richard and Suzanne McCarthy of Little Rock, Arkansas announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan, to Lt. David Norton, USN of Norfolk, Virginia.
David is the son of Chuck and Christine Norton of Huron. The bride is a 2003 graduate of Mount St. Mary’s Academy in Little Rock. She has received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from St. Louis University. The groom graduated from Huron High School in 1999 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame. He was commissioned an officer in the United States Navy in 2003. This past April, he returned from deployment in the Middle East where he was a naval flight officer aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. They will be married at St. Peter’s Church in Huron on July 11. The couple will live in Germany where Lt. Norton will be serving with NATO.
