The Library Council meets Monday, Oct. 11 from 3 to 4 p.m. Those in the seventh- through twelfth-grades who would like to make a difference at the library while having some fun, should join. Applications are available at the circulation desk. The council meets monthly during the school year to plan events and play games.
Rockin’ Readers return to the library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13. This book club is for anyone in third- through sixth-grade who would like to meet once a month during the school year to talk about a book club members read. The library’s Second Thursday Seminar Candidates Night meets on a special date and location: Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at McCormick School, 325 Ohio St. This is a chance to meet and question the candidates for county commissioner, county auditor and state representative (80th District.)
