The Sandusky/Erie County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from Erie County non-profit organizations. The Community Foundation will award approximately $100,000 in the spring grants cycle, and the same amount again in the fall. Grant applications and guidelines are available on the Community Foundation’s Web site at www.sanduskyfoundation.org. Deadline is Feb. 1, 2010, for the spring grants cycle; and August 1, 2010, for the fall grants cycle. The Community Foundation and the Volunteer Center of Erie County are providing grant writing assistance for Erie County non-profit organizations. Applicant agencies must be designated IRS 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organizations, or classified as a governmental unit or qualified church or other entity covered by a group exemption.
