Workshops Help Seniors Fight to Keep All-Electric Discount

Serving Our Seniors and the Ohio Consumers Counsel will be holding mini-workshops to help customers prepare their public testimony regarding the All-Electric Discount being taken away after May 2011.   The workshops will teach customers how to share their story so that the testimony is on-task/on-message, convincing and factual.  The “How to Give Your Testimony”  Workshops will be offered on three different dates and times:

Monday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon,  RSVP due Oct. 1 before noon;
Thursday,  Oct. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m.,   RSVP due on Oct. 6 before noon;
Monday, Oct. 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.   RSVP due on Oct. 15 before noon.
Tentatively the workshops will be held at Serving Our Seniors, 310 E. Boalt St., Sandusky. The conference room will hold 14 people.   RSVPs are required for planning purposes; call Serving Our Seniors at 419-624-1856 or 800-564-1856 and leave a name and telephone number.  If more than 14 people RSVP per workshop, Serving Our Seniors will move the workshop to a larger location.
